Our historic properties and neighborhoods are an important reminder of our history. Valuing our past is vital to our community's character.
About this Event

The conference will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2026. Registration begins at 10:30 A.M. with lunch served at 11:00 A.M. Three sessions will follow beginning at 12:00 P.M.

Session One: Tom Hamm, Professor of History, Quaker scholar in residence at Earlham College. He is one of the leading experts on Quakers in America. He has written extensively and curated the extensive Quaker collection of Earlham College. Tom is a great story teller and will share stories about people from history and why their lives are important today.

Session Two: Todd Zeiger, Director of the Northern Region and Vice President of Heritage Trades for Indiana Landmarks. With a degree in historic preservation from Roger Williams University, a Certificate of Executive Management from Notre Dame, and a minor in business from Indiana University, Todd Zeiger has built upon his passion for historic buildings over nearly 40 years in the field.

Todd serves Indiana Landmarks as Vice President, Heritage Trades and Director of the Northern Regional Office – a role he has held since 1998, and was recently named to lead the organization’s statewide trades initiative.

In 2008, he joined the faculty of the University of Notre Dame School of Architecture, where he teaches research and documentation, history and theory, and practices courses in the undergraduate and graduate levels.

RCP believes heritage trades are important in preserving the original fabric of historic properties. It is a part of a building’s integrity. Preserving these skills ensures an appreciation of our architectural heritage.

Session Three: Adam Sanregret, Principal, Cincinnati Historic Homes. Adam is a lifelong resident of Cincinnati and has been a real estate agent since 2003. He has bought and restored investment properties and five of his own homes including a Queen Anne Victorian in the historic Rose Hill Subdivision of North Avondale and an Arts and Crafts home in the historic neighborhood of Westwood.

His latest restoration project is an 1885 Second Empire home in the historic Camp Washington neighborhood. His restoration work has been featured on local home tours and in the news.

In addition to his real estate business, Adam owns and manages his residential rental properties, contributing to his unique experience in real estate. He is rated in the top 3% of the Cincinnati Area Board of Realtors, averaging aclosed transaction every 6 days. He has earned 12 consecutive Circle of Excellence Awards from the Cincinnati Area Board of Realtors.

Marketing and sales of historic properties require a special talent. It is not like selling track houses in a subdivision. Knowledge of historic preservation and neighborhood reinvestment is critical in successfully developing historic places.
