About this Event
Join us for a powerful, solutions-focused conversation about the future of care in our community.
The Norfolk Mayor's Commission on Aging and Long-Term Care and the Norfolk Mayor's Commission for Persons with Disabilities invite you to our 2026 Provider Summit — a collaborative gathering where local leaders, service providers, and advocates come together to tackle the real challenges facing older adults and persons with disabilities in Norfolk and the surrounding region.
This year's summit features two timely presentations to set the stage for action:
Sherry Norquist, Sentara will share findings from the Regional Health Assessment, offering a data-driven look at where our community stands today.
Dr. Susan Girois, Norfolk Health Department will address the community response needed as Norfolk navigates significant changes to the Medicaid population in the wake of HR-1 federal legislation.
These presentations will frame our facilitated tabletop discussions, where attendees will work together to identify actionable next steps for the City of Norfolk and develop a roadmap that may shape the broader Hampton Roads region.
Your voice matters. Come ready to engage.
