About this Event

Get ready for a morning of insight and inspiration. Join GSPM, along with co-sponsors Chief Influencer and Former Members of Congress, for the 2026 Paul O'Dwyer Endowed Forum for Political Ethics, a conversation that highlights the importance of ethical leadership in American politics.
Prior to the panel discussion, we invite you to join us for breakfast in The City View Room on the 7th floor of the Elliott School of International Affairs. The panel begins promptly at 9 am. This event is open to the GW community.
MODERATOR AND PANELISTS

The discussion will be moderated by Nneka Chiazor, President and CEO of the Public Affairs Council. Panelists include the Honorable Michael Capuano, former Congressman (D-MA, 1999–2019), the Honorable Mimi Walters, former Congresswoman (R-CA, 2015–2019), and Brody Mullins, author and investigative reporter.
Together, they’ll explore the realities of governing today and examine how civility and ethical leadership can endure in an increasingly polarized environment. This is a unique opportunity to gain valuable insights while connecting with peers, alumni, and professionals in the field.
