We are thrilled to announce that our festival will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2026! This exciting spring event is returning to Miami, OK, to celebrate the Centennial of Route 66! We invite nationally recognized muralists and local artists to showcase their designs across selected areas of our cherished Ottawa County community. The murals will revolve around the theme of “Historic Rt. 66,” highlighting the rich history of Ottawa County! The festival kicks off at 10:00 a.m., transforming Downtown Miami into a lively hub of outdoor entertainment featuring local performers of all ages. A variety of food trucks will be present, and children can enjoy numerous activities at our Kids’ Depot area. Additionally, our charity car show, which benefits the Ottawa County Imagination Library, will make its annual return. Vendors will line the streets, and local artists will showcase their work for sale. This year, we are excited to feature strolling entertainment from Inspyral Circus, along with a half block dedicated to health and wellness, organized by the Miami Public Library’s Health Literacy Program.
This event presents a fantastic opportunity for our community to unite in celebration of our unique history while spotlighting our vibrant culture and all it has to offer.
We encourage community leaders to get involved through mural/music sponsorships, donations, or volunteer assistance. A few sponsorship opportunities are still available. Please refer to the attached sponsorship flyer for more information.
