Join the Elakha Alliance & the Oregon Zoo for our biggest and most anticipated fundraiser of the year – celebrating five incredible years of conservation, community, and craft beverages! This otter-ly unforgettable evening will highlight Oregon’s vibrant beverage scene while trying to fundraise to restore sea otters and strengthen our coastal ecosystems.

In 2025, together we raised over $37,000 to support sea otter conservation – and now, we’re aiming even higher to make an even bigger splash for Oregon’s ocean future with a goal of $50,000!
This year’s festival is more than a beer event – it’s a full celebration of Oregon’s beverage artistry! We have 11 breweries participating, each crafting special sea otter–themed beers using Maris Otter Malt, plus 5 additional beverage partners pouring wine, cider, and ginger beer. Guests can sip, sample, and vote for their favorite creations while a panel of expert judges crowns the top otter-inspired beverages.
The evening will also feature:
🎟️ Raffle & Silent Auction with local artwork, adventure packages, and unique gifts.
🎨 Live painting by artist Mike Bennett Studios of sea otters on a surfboard for the silent auction.
🐚 Bryson Wallace (whom you might know from KMHD) will DJ to set the vibe.
✍️ La Petite Tattoo showcasing their special ocean-themed flash tattoos benefiting Elakha in May with four female artists. Beer fest guests will be the first to reserve their appointments!
🍦 Ottie’s Oreo Vegan Ice Cream Samples from Kate’s Ice Cream.
📝 The Traveling Typist providing On the Spot poetry.
🎨 Get some beautiful ocean-themed body art from The Henna Queen.
🐳 Bring in an old shirt or canvas bag for Wombat Wisdoms to block print with ocean creatures.
🦦 Engaging trivia celebrating Oregon’s sea otters and marine restoration efforts.
🌮 Tasty eats from Epicurean.
📸 Photo Booth to capture all the memories.
Founded by tribal and conservation leaders, the Elakha Alliance is dedicated to returning sea otters to Oregon’s coast and revitalizing the ecosystems they help sustain. Your support at this milestone event directly fuels that vision.
Come raise a glass (or two) to five years of impact and a sea otter-filled future!
