The Omar Wade STEAM Scholarship Gala is our organization’s flagship annual event dedicated to promoting education in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics among youth, particularly girls and students from underserved communities. The event brings together educators, community leaders, policymakers, business partners, families, and international stakeholders to inspire and celebrate the achievements of outstanding students who have chosen to pursue studies in STEAM - Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics -
Since 2023, VAP has proudly awarded over 10 scholarships to exceptional high school graduates dedicated to pursuing studies in STEAM fields. These promising young leaders are on a path to impactful careers, fostering innovation and driving economic mobility in their communities.
