Join us for the 2026 OICA Child Advocacy Day & Chili Cook-off on Tuesday, March 10th at the Oklahoma State Capitol on the 2nd floor, east hallway (by the OK Supreme Court Chambers)! We are inviting youth-serving organizations and advocates to compete in a friendly cooking competition, and we have members of the legislature, the court and capitol reporters serving as the judges!
Sponsorships are available and those sponsors of $100 get their name on the event t-shirt, and $250 or more get their logo printed on it! Each sponsor gets a complimentary t-shirt, and those who enter the chili competition receive an apron for free with the event logo.
It is free to enter the chili cook-off and to come by and sample the chili entries, but spots are limited should you want to compete. T-shirts will be on sale and should run about $30 each (still awaiting the price from our printer).
We will also have advocates there promoting the children's policies which OICA is supporting this session, so stop by and learn about our work!
At the Oklahoma Institute for Child Advocacy (OICA), we deeply appreciate your generosity and commitment to our mission. While we make every effort to allocate donations to the specific event or initiative designated by our supporters, there may be instances where funds exceed the needs of a particular program. In such cases, your contribution will be used to support the overall operations and advocacy efforts of OICA, ensuring continued impact on behalf of Oklahoma’s children.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding this practice, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. Your trust is invaluable, and we remain committed to transparency and responsible stewardship of all donations.
