Event details•$200 entry fee per team.
•Winning team receives entry to the 2026 Northeast Challenge Event event (worth $2,500 US) July 14 to 17 Mohegan Sun Casino / Resort in Uncasville, Connecticut.
•Event Format is Toledo style. Toledo style is an exciting and fun format for players of all skill level. It promotes playing players of similar skill level a single game in a team tournament format. If you haven’t played Toledo, give it a shot, you’ll love it!!!!
•Participating teams must be existing Simcoe / Grey / Muskoka Spring Session league 8 Ball teams.
•Teams must consist of at least six original members from an existing Spring session team roster; an additional two roster changes will be allowed per team (so…..6 original members from your team must be on the roster and you can add 2 more players).
•Team rosters may contain a maximum of eight players, minimum of five players. (only 5 players play in a match)
•The handicap total for the five players playing in each match cannot exceed 23. It’s in a teams best interested to add up to 23 as there isn’t a game spot for teams coming in below 23.
•All players must be active Spring session 8 Ball players and must have played a minimum of four league matches in the Spring session.
•Due to the summer session requirement at the NEC, players who only participate in the Ladies division are not eligible for this NEC qualifying event.
•Any player with less than ten lifetime matches (i.e. new players) must be approved by Craig Misener.
•Players may be on multiple rosters (max 2) but may only play on one team per round during the event.
•Winning team receives entry and hotel (3 rooms).
•The NEC spot cannot be sold and holds no cash value, the winning team must attend the 2026 NEC or the runner up will receive the spot
•Winning players / team must remain active in the Summer session in our league area in order to participate at the NEC.
•Doors open at 10am, registration closes at 10:30am. No need to pre-register. Please ensure your players and teams meet the eligibility requirements.
