Red River Valley Beekeepers is holding a training session for new hobby beekeepers. This is a one day class and is also a great refresher for current beekeepers. Select the training session that best fits your schedule. The training sessions available are on Monday February 16th from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm, Saturday February 28th from 10:00 am to Noon and Saturday March 7th from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Red River Valley Fairground: Ag Education Center in West Fargo, ND.
We will be discussing what to expect in your first year of beekeeping, what supplies and equipment you will need as well as discussing the set up of your apiary. Attendance is free of charge.
Please respond to [email protected] with your preferred training date to reserve a seat. Include your name, address, phone number, email, and number attending. Class size is limited to 25 and for ages 12+ (2 hours can be a long time for those younger than 12).
