About this Event
Hosted by the Center for Creative Land Recycling, U.S. EPA Region 9, and the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection (NDEP), the 2026 Nevada Brownfields Conference is a two day event dedicated to transforming vacant, contaminated and underutilized land into assets your community needs! Day one will cover the basics, from identifying brownfields to funding your project and managing local, state and federal requirements. Then, tour cleanup sites, success stories & opportunity areas to see the process come to life. Day 2 features interactive facilitator-led labs that build on workshop and session presentations through hands-on project work. In each lab, you will apply tools and frameworks to your own site or a facilitator-provided example and leave with tangible next steps or draft materials to advance your brownfields project. Select two labs when registering (Note: labs are subject to change).
