We are excited to host our third NCFWB pastor and wife retreat, Thursday evening and Friday morning, March 26-27, 2026, at The Beach Cove Resort in North Myrtle Beach, SC.Accomodations include an Oceanfront 1 Bedroom Condo with a private balcony with a direct view of the ocean. Breakfast vouchers will be provided for Friday morning.
Christian Powell will be our speaker. Christian & Erin Powell serve at Faith FWB Church in Goldsboro, where Christian is the Lead Pastor. They have been married nearly 32 years and have 2 sons, a daughter-in-law, and a grandson! Christian serves on our NCFWB Executive Committee, is active on the state and national level in our denomination, and is widely used as a marriage retreat speaker.
We will have one main session on Thursday evening at 7:00 PM. We will have at least one main session on Friday morning, time tba.
As per the motion passed at our state meeting last year, we will be sponsoring each NCFWB pastor and wife for the retreat and Thursday night's lodging (including breakfast for Friday morning). Additionally, NCFWB associate pastors and retired pastors are invited to attend on the NCFWB sponsorship.
Out-of-State FWB Ministers are welcome to attend for the cost of lodging.
