This race is a low key, no frills, low cost, no awards social race/run. Both courses are on trails. The 5K is about as easy as can be found in this area and the 15K has a few challenges with the High Adventure trail, including a rope section and the difficult trail that travels down to the bottom of the magnificent Lula Falls.
Hikers are most welcome if they can maintain a 16 minute per mile pace.
The cutoff time for the 5k is 50 minutes and for the 15K is 2.5 hours. The run/hike will be followed by post race snacks and beverages. Proceeds will benefit the Lula Lake Land Trust.
