About this Event
NAS stands for Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome. This is a condition that occurs when infants are exposed to drugs that cause dependency while in-utero. This condition can cause a range of symptoms beginning at birth. The purpose of the symposium is to educate attendees on the condition and effective interventions and resources for children affected by NAS, their families, and those tasked with supporting them.
