About this Event
The NAMI Ohio State Conference is a powerful gathering of advocates, professionals, families, and individuals with lived experience coming together to strengthen our statewide movement to improve the lives of all Ohioans impacted by mental illness.
In 2026, we will convene for two days of conversations with key leaders, interactive workshops, networking with statewide partners, and meaningful moments that shape mental health policy and practice across Ohio.
A limited number of scholarships are available to support peers and the dedicated NAMI affiliate volunteers who give so much to our communities. We are committed to making this event accessible, and honored to uplift those who make our work possible.
DRAFT AGENDA
NAMI Ohio’s Nonpartisan Role
NAMI Ohio is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, grassroots organization and does not endorse or oppose any political candidate or party. As a nonpartisan organization, our role is to elevate the voices of individuals and families impacted by mental illness and to ensure mental health remains a priority in public policy discussions.
The conference features participation from the two leading gubernatorial candidates based on current, publicly available polling data at the time invitations were issued. Invitations were extended using objective criteria to ensure fairness and alignment with our nonpartisan mission.
Our goal is to provide attendees with the opportunity to hear directly from candidates about their vision for Ohio’s mental health system and to engage in substantive policy discussion focused on improving access, quality, and outcomes for all Ohioans.
