2026 Motorsports Madness Driver Registration: Big Sky Country State Fair

Freedom Four Wheel is bringing the adrenaline-pumping Motorsports Madness back for another epic year! Day one will feature a fast- paced double elimination dual drag mud race and day two will be Tough Truck AND SXS races.

Class specs are listed below, and some classes may be combined based on final registration numbers.

Please note the following:

-Driver registration must be completed by July 18th at 12:00am

-Everyone in the pit area is required to have a pit pass. A pit pass gives you access to the pit area as well as access to the fair. Pit passes can be purchased when you complete your driver registration. Driver pit pass is included with your driver registration.

-There is a zero tolerance policy for drugs/alcohol in the pit area. Coolers will be checked upon arrival. If you or someone in your group are seen with drugs/alcohol in the pits, you will be disqualified and banned from future events.

-Parking in the pit area is limited so we ask everyone limit their vehicles to a tow vehicle, trailer and race vehicle.

-No pets are allowed in the pit area

-Drivers entries(excluding fees) will be paid out to 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place winners

Class Specs:

Stock:

1. Vehicles must be able to be street legal. (Be able to pass a vehicle inspection to get plates)
2. PPE – Arms and Legs must be covered – Non-Polyester material
3. Vehicle must retain OEM structure (No gutting)
4. “Body swaps” Not allowed
5. Tires must be DOT approved, limited to 33” in diameter
6. 3 "mods" total allowed
7. Total overall lift limited to 4” (includes body and suspension combined) (Mod)
8. Intake and Carb is one Mod
9. Fuel Injection - Increase in CFM and chip is one mod on GAS ONLY! (no chipped diesels!)
10. No aftermarket Heads
11. No blowers, aftermarket turbo's,
12. No performance enhancing fuels (VP Racing, nitrous, propane injection etc.)
13. Gas and Diesel only, (Diesels must be Stock HP no programmers)
14. Propane may be used but only as a primary fuel source! (No injection)
15. Fuel cells allowed (not a mod)
16. Drive shaft hoops not required but Highly Recommended.
17. Diff lockers or spools allowed (Not a Mod)
18. Must also meet all required points in vehicle rules.

(MODIFICATION DEFINITION: ALL NON OEM PARTS - IF THE VEHICLE DID NOT COME FACTORY EQUIPPED WITH IT "IT" IS A MODIFICATION)

Super Stock:

1. Vehicle must retain 80% OEM structure (No gutting)
2. PPE – Arms and Legs must be covered – Non Polyester material
3. “Body swaps” Not allowed.
4. Tires must be DOT approved and limited to 35” in diameter
5. 4 mods total allowed
6. Total overall lift limited to 6” (includes body and suspension combined (4-link and Traction control allowed ) ) (Mod)
7. Intake and Carb is one Mod
8. Fuel Injection - Increase in CFM and chip is one mod on GAS ONLY! (no chipped diesels!)
9. No blowers, aftermarket turbo's,
10. No performance enhancing fuels (nitrous, propane etc)
11. OEM engine swaps allowed (e.g. Chevy to Chevy, Ford to Ford, etc.) Example of overbuilding: S-10 with a 350 is less than the 80% OEM Rule
12. Gas or Diesel only (Diesels must be Stock HP no programmers)
13. Propane may be used but only as a primary fuel source! (No injection)
14. Fuel cells allowed (not a mod)
15. Driveline loops required. U-joint guards on differentials recommended
16. Diff lockers or spools allowed (Not a Mod)
17. Rad relocation allowed (Not a Mod)

Pro Stock:

1. Hood and windshield required.
2. PPE – Arms and Legs must be covered – Non Polyester material
3. OEM structure must be recognizable
4. Fibreglass body’s or tube frames not allowed.
5. Wheelbase must remain to body length. Wheels must fit under wheel wells.
6. Body swaps allowed.
7. Tires must be DOT approved and limited to 38” in diameter
8. No cut paddle or pivot tires.
9. No lift limit
10. No blowers or aftermarket turbo’s,
11. No nitrous – remove bottle, alcohol etc),
12. Gas, Diesel, and VP allowed
13. Propane may be used but only as primary fuel source! (No injection)
14. 300 hp (## sea-level hp) limit rear wheel (ACTUAL)
15. Driveline loops required. U-joint guards on differentials mandatory.
16. No frame extensions
17. Transmission shield required only if transmission brake present.
18. Must also meet all required points in vehicle rules.

Modified:

1. Hood and windshield required.
2. PPE – Arms and Legs must be covered – Non Polyester material
3. OEM structure must be recognizable

5. Axle placement must remain under oem frame.
6. Body swaps allowed.
7. Tires must be DOT approved and limited to 38.5” in diameter
8. No cut paddle or pivot tires.
9. No lift limit.
10. No blowers or aftermarket turbo’s,
11. No nitrous – remove bottle, alcohol ect
12. Gas, Diesel, and VP allowed
13. Propane may be used but only as primary fuel source! (No injection)
14. 450 hp (## sea-level hp) limit rear wheel (ACTUAL)
15. Driveline loops required, U-joint guards on differentials mandatory
16. Roll bar is mandatory on unaltered OEM Cabs.
17. Altered cab must have a minimum 4 point Roll Cage with 5 point harness is mandatory.

5. No cut paddle or pivot tires.
6. No lift limit
7. No blowers or aftermarket turbo’s,
8. No nitrous-remove bottle, alcohol etc.
9. Gas, Diesel and VP allowed.
10. Propane may be used but only as a primary fuel source! (No injection)
11. Single carb only!
12. Any other engine mods ok.
13. Drive line loops and u-joint guard on differentials mandatory.
14. Roll bar is mandatory on unaltered OEM Cabs.
15. Altered cab must have a minimum 4 point Roll Cage with 5 point harness is mandatory.
16. Neck braces recommended.
17. Transmission Brake Allowed.

7. No nitrous-remove bottle, alcohol etc.
8. Gas, Diesel, VP allowed.
9. Diesel only – Twin turbo’s allowed
10. Propane may be used but only as a primary fuel source! (No injection)
11. Driveline loops, U-joint guards on differential Mandatory.
12. Roll bar is mandatory on unaltered OEM Cabs.
13. Altered cab must have a minimum 4 point Roll Cage with 5 point harness is mandatory.
14. Neck braces recommended.
15. Transmission Brake Allowed.
16. Transmission must have shield
17. Multiple carbs allowed.
18. Must also meet all required points in vehicle rules.

X Class

1. Hood and windshield required or approved fire suit must be worn.
2. PPE – Arms and Legs must be covered – Non Polyester material
3. Body swaps allowed
4. Any rubber tires any size
5. Forced air induction
6. Nitrous
7. Driveline loops & U-joint guards on differential mandatory
8. 5 point harness mandatory and neck braces recommended
9. Must have a roll cage
10. Anything Goes
11. Must also meet all required points in vehicle rules.

We will be running 2 truck classes and 2 SXS classes. Classes will be determined by race organizers. We will be running single or double elimination (depends on # of participants).

All vehicles must pass tech inspection before competing

No passegers

Shoulder belts, disabled air bags and DOT approved helmet are required in stock trucks and neck collars are advised.

No cars or other vehicles besides trucks,SUVs and SXSs.

No paddles, chains, or screws.

Open to any 4, 6 or 8 cylinder truck, SXS or SUV. (2 wheel or 4 wheel drive). ATV’s are not allowed.

Vehicles must have an original firewall and floor in the original location.

It is recommended that all vehicles be equipped with at least a 2-1/2 lb. dry chemical fire extinguisher or 1 lb. halon extinguisher. Extinguishers must be fully charged, in working condition, and secured in a convenient location next to the driver.

Pump gas only. All forms of nitro are illegal as a fuel or additive. Nitrous oxide or accelerators are not permitted. Diesel fuel is permitted in diesel engines.

Vehicles must be in good mechanical condition and must have good working brakes.

All pickup trucks must have a clean bed and all bodies must be secured to frames.

All tailgates must be secured or removed.
Air bags must be removed or disabled.

No loose objects of any kind in or on any part of the vehicle. This includes, but not limited to, drivers compartment, box or bed of truck and under/behind seats.

Drivers must have valid drivers license

Additional safety regulations and / or rules may be imposed at race time.

The rules and/or regulations set forth herein are designed to provide for the orderly conduct of competition events and to establish minimum acceptable requirements for such events. These rules shall govern the condition of all events, and, by participating in these events, all participants are deemed to have complied with these rules. They are intended as a guide for the conduct of the sport and are in no way a guarantee against injury or death to a participant, spectator, or official. The Competition Director shall be empowered to permit minor deviations from any of the specifications herein or impose any further restrictions that in his opinion do not alter the minimum acceptable requirements. NO EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF SAFETY SHALL RESULT FROM SUCH ALTERATION OF SPECIFICATIONS. Any interpretation or deviation of these rules is left to the discretion of the officials. Their decision is final.
