About this Event
Join us for our High School Summer Band Camp that will be held on the campus of Alabama A&M University. High schoolers will have experience with working with professors, students, and our special guest on perfecting their musicianship, with a quality experience through our AAMU Band Program. The camp is also open to 8th graders that march with their local high school band. School and community groups must provide one chaperone per fifteen campers.
Housing: Housing will only be provided for On-Campus Campers and Chaperones. Housing will not be offered after the registration deadline.
Food during camp: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided by the Alabama A&M University cafeteria staff (All meals are included in campers band camp fee’s). Any dietary restrictions should be noted in the band camp registration form.
*Please note that students will be provided with frequent water breaks and will be scheduled to be out of the sun during the peak hours of the day. The students' health and safety is our top priority.
