About this Event
2026 NAMC Midwinter National Meeting
February 17–18, 2026
“Navigating Change, Delivering Opportunity”
Join NAMC leaders, chapter representatives, industry partners, and subject-matter experts for the 2026 Midwinter National Meeting, a two-day convening focused on policy, practice, and positioning minority contractors for success in a rapidly evolving contracting environment.
This year’s program will feature timely discussions on how NAMC chapters and members can navigate race-neutral contracting policies, strengthen access to public and private sector opportunities, and build sustainable local impact. Sessions will address city-based small and emerging business programs, major corporate partner engagement strategies, critical legal and legislative developments affecting minority contractors nationwide, and chapter development, including strengthening chapter capacity, aligning local advocacy with national strategy, and sharing approaches that support member growth, sustainability, and engagement.
Participants will also explore how federal and local funding streams—such as Community Development Block Grants (CDBG)—flow through cities and how chapters can work proactively with local officials to ensure member participation in funded projects. Additional discussions will examine workforce and compliance challenges, including the impact of immigration reform on the construction industry and guidance on DBE recertification requirements.
To foster relationship-building and peer exchange, the Midwinter Meeting will include a networking event on the evening of Day One, providing attendees with an opportunity to connect with national leadership, chapter representatives, corporate partners, and key stakeholders in an informal setting.
The meeting will conclude with the closed February National Board Meeting for National Board Members and Chapter Presidents.
This event is designed to equip NAMC leaders and members with practical insights, policy awareness, and strategic tools to advance equity, opportunity, and chapter effectiveness across the NAMC network.
