2026 Midnight Marathon Truck n' Train

Overview

Want to ride the Midnight Marathon, but need a way to get your bike out to Hopkinton? We'll move your bike while you ride the train.

This ticket is to transport your bicycle from Boston to Southborough for the Midnight Marathon Bike Ride. THIS IS NOT A TRAIN TICKET! You will need to buy your own commuter rail train ticket for the normally scheduled 9:00pm train to Southborough, or find alternative transportation such as a carpool or taxi to get yourself to the start of the ride. There are no bikes allowed on the Worchester line after 5:00PM on April 20.

Unfortunately we cannot accommodate tricycles or recumbent bikes. Tandem bikes are allowed, but require two tickets due to their size.

❗️Loading bikes takes time. Please arrive as early as you can with your EventBrite ticket ready.

When you arrive at the dropoff location, a volunteer will check your ticket and assign your bike a number. You will be given a matching wristband that you will need to claim your bike when we arrive in Southborough.

Once your bike is loaded onto the truck, meet up with your ride to Southborough or walk over to South Station to board the commuter rail train. Purchase a commuter rail Weekend Pass if you have not yet bought one. You can purchase commuter rail tickets at the station, on the train, or on your phone with the mTicket app.

The train DEPARTS at 9:00pm so be at South Station no later than 8:45pm! DON’T MISS THE TRAIN!

The train will arrive at Southborough Station at 10:01, where we will unload the bikes in the station parking lot. Look for the truck and wait nearby for your bike’s number to be called. When called, show the unloading attendant your wristband so they can verify a match.

If for any reason you fail to collect your bike when we unload we will lock up your bike at Southborough station and pickup will be arranged the following day. As soon as you realize you won’t be able to collect your bike, text Lucas at 774-235-5270 and provide your name and wristband number. KEEP YOUR WRISTBAND UNTIL YOU HAVE PICKED UP YOUR BIKE

Remove any panniers, baskets, milk crates, mirrors, and all other bike accessories that add to the length & width of your bike. You can carry these accessories on the train with you.

Any excess funds raised beyond the cost of bike transportation will be donated to . The cost of this ticket is not tax deductible in full or in part.
