2026 Metcalfe Park Big Clean

Join Metcalfe Park Community Bridges, The Big Clean and Milwaukee Journal Sentinel for a neighborhood-wide clean-up and walk audit on Saturday, April 25, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

We’ll meet at Metcalfe Park Rising (3401 W. Center St.) to gather supplies and break into three groups covering Zone 1, Zone 2 and Zone 3.

Together, we’ll clean up our streets from 27th Street to 39th Street, Center to North, while also taking a deeper look at our neighborhood — surveying trees, illegal dumping sites, and sidewalk access to help build a safer, greener and more connected community.

At 1 PM, we’ll gather back at Metcalfe Park Rising to eat good BBQ, enjoy great music, and celebrate our collective work.

This event is free and open to all residents, families, friends and youth are welcome.
