The Village of Island Park proudly presents the marching of the Island Park Memorial Day Parade on Saturday, May 23, 2026. This time honored community tradition will carry even greater meaning as Island Park celebrates its 100th Anniversary and honors America 250, the United States Semiquincentennial celebration.We are proud to announce our 2026 Grand Marshal, Mayor James W. Ruzicka, Sr., former mayor, former fire chief, and United States Navy veteran.
Parade lineup will begin at 9:30am with a 10:00am step off. The parade will line up on Waterford Road near Masone Beach. The best viewing locations will be along Long Beach Road, with the parade also traveling along Radcliffe and Ostend Roads. The parade will conclude with a beautiful ceremony at the Memorial Monument.
Participants will include American Legion Post 1029, the Island Park Fire Department, local officials, scouts, marching bands, schools, vintage police and fire vehicles, classic cars, police organizations, community organizations, and more. Organizations and classic car owners who wish to participate may register by emailing [email protected]. More information is available at villageofislandpark.gov/parade.
