ABOUT:The Melbourne CI community hosts an Underscore every month on Saturday evening to allow practitioners to deepen their research of this unique form. The Underscore is suited for people who are familiar with Contact Improvisation and have attended regular classes.
Created by Nancy Stark Smith, it is a long form dance improvisation structure, composed of key elements of the dance form, Contact Improvisation (CI).
As it is a contained practice, attendees must arrive promptly at the start time and stay for the entire duration of the session.
COST: $5-$10
