Invitation to celebrate – 2026 National Medal of Honor Day and National Vietnam War Veterans Day with Guest Speakers and Members of VFW Post 9676:You are cordially invited to join Daniel D. Fernandez, Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 9676 members at their 2026 celebration of National Medal of Honor Day and National Vietnam War Veterans Day, on Saturday, March 28, 2026. VFW Post 9676 will celebrate these two significant historical days at their Post Home, located at the entrance to Daniel D. Fernandez Memorial Park, located at 1201 State Highway 314 (Yellow Building), beginning
outside at 9:30 a.m. with Flag Raising and Reveille Ceremony, followed by inside program with several Guest Speakers at 10:00 a.m.
Our VFW Post is named after local hero and Medal of
Honor Recipient – Daniel D. Fernandez and a significant number of our members are Vietnam Veterans, some of whom knew Daniel personally. If you are interested in learning more about
Daniel D Fernandez, visiting with Vietnam War Veterans, learning about VFW Post 9676 activities, or joining our Post, come and join us.
This event is free of charge and no registration is required. There will be door prizes, and the Post will be offering all attendees refreshments.
All Veterans and the General Public are invited to celebrate these two important days for Veterans. We look forward to your attendance. As always, VFW Post 9676 members are here to
serve you. The VFW Motto is “NO ONE DOES MORE FOR VETERANS.”
