Happy May! Our May First Friday is 50's Inspired Hometown Hop! Visit the downtown area, our local businesses and restaurants, and enjoy the many activities. This First Friday will feature:Main Street Wadsworth
-Classic Car Show — As you stroll through the downtown, stop at the Mosaic parking lot to admire a lineup of vintage vehicles that capture the spirit of the decade.
-Bubble Gum Station — Kids can pop by for bubble gum fun and sweet treats inspired by classic soda shop nostalgia.
-Sock Hop at Northeast Ohio Dance — Slip off your shoes and dance the night away at a lively sock hop hosted by Northeast Ohio Dance in partnership with Main Street Wadsworth.
-Soda Fundraiser with Sugar Social in the Pocket Park — Swing through the Pocket Park for a special soda fundraiser hosted by Sugar Social and Main Street Wadsworth.
-Listen to the Wadsworth High School Rock Band in the Pocket Park.
-Dress in your 50's best!
ALT Boutique
-Come visit a new shop downtown! Owned by Rhonda of Opal Dragonfly Boutique, this “pivot” brings something fun and truly unique to our historic downtown! Grand opening weekend Friday and Saturday!
-Come get a free rose or sticker to help them celebrate!
American Legion
-Will be selling sausage sandwiches for $8 on their Back Patio in conjunction with the beer garden opening on the Wadsworth Square Foundation property.
Blue Tip Festival
-Will be located in front of the Radio Station promoting their upcoming firetruck pull, parade and festival.
First Christian Church
-Stop by MC Real Estate to visit with First Christian Church. They will have fidgets, temporary tattoos, hula hoops, candy and sidewalk chalk.
Grace Lutheran Church
-Will have free meatballs!
-Stop by for 1950s tattoos, a backdrop for photos, and chalk drawing on the sidewalk as well.
Sacred Heart
-Will have a 50's themed game and information about saints who were canonized in the 50s.

-Is kicking off their YA book sale: Young Adults Big Impacy. Buy 2 YA books, get 1 FREE!
The Sub Station
-Open until 9:00 p.m.! Rootbeer or orange floats for $5, make it an adult version in Dora Cup for $8! Frozen Margaritas in Dora Cup for $8! Single Patty cheeseburger and fries for $9! Treats for kids!

Uniquely Handmade For You
-Art by Ali Cleveland will once again provide complimentary face painting services for children, although gratuities are appreciated for this talented artist.
-To celebrate Mother's Day, Uniquely Handmade For You will be distributing a complimentary gift to the first 50 mothers who visit the shop.
-Their resident beekeeper, Kirt, will be present with his bees, weather permitting.
-Additionally, Bloominique Sweets will be offering samples of her exquisite European Dessert Flowers.

-Hop on down to the Library and kick off your shoes for a night of 50s inspired crafts and games.
-Make a soda fountain craft, play hopscotch, try your hand at some 50’s trivia or shake, rattle, and roll to the music. Let’s get our kicks at the hop!
Wadsworth Square Commons
-Stop by on May 1 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. for an open house and launch party of Wadsworth Square Commons. A ribbon cutting will take place at 5:30 p.m. Tours, refreshments and music will take place!

-Will have Into the Blue - The Tribute to ELO at 8pm!
