Join the Maryland Alliance for Advocacy for Sickle Cell (MAASC) for an impactful day of advocacy, policy discussion, and community empowerment. This event unites advocates, patients, and policymakers dedicated to addressing urgent health disparities affecting over 5,000 Marylanders living with sickle cell disease.

House Bill 178 – Public Health: Sickle Cell Disease – Specialized Clinics and Scholarship Program for Medical Residents:
This bill aims to establish specialized clinics for improved access to comprehensive care and funds scholarships to train medical professionals in advanced sickle cell treatment.
