Welcome to the 6th Annual Manitoba Sustainable Protein Research Symposium:
We're thrilled to invite you to the 6th Annual Manitoba Sustainable Protein Research Symposium, happening on June 22-23, 2026 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This event is a must-attend for trainees, researchers, and industry professionals dedicated to advancing sustainable protein. This year, we're diving into the latest technological breakthroughs and their impact on both plant and animal protein sectors. This year’s themes include Resilient Protein Systems, Innovation in Protein Processing and Protein Innovation in Practice.
The Symposium will open on June 22nd with enriching networking opportunities at the Fort Whyte Buffalo Crossing Visitors Centre. The main event on June 23rd at the Fort Garry Hotel features a lineup of dynamic speakers, exhibitors, and poster sessions. This year, we’re shaking things up by introducing a Trainee Industry Pitch competition, where students will have the opportunity to team up and pitch innovative technical solutions for the revalorization of by-products associated with protein production. Then, we’re capping off the evening with a decadent banquet dinner.
