Please join the Effingham County Young Farmers on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at the Effingham County High School Cafeteria for the 2026 Lloyd Arnsdorff Memorial Scholarship Auction. The Silent Auction will start at 6:00 PM, and the Steak Dinner and Live Auction will begin at 6:30 PMSteak Dinner Tickets are $25, and we ask that you attend the entire auction if you are interested in purchasing a steak dinner plate! Please contact an officer of the Young Farmers or Benjamin Richardson, Advisor, at 912-429-6974 to secure your ticket ahead of time! Please note that tickets will be available at the door, but we ask for attendees to RSVP as soon as possible so we have an accurate attendance number to plan the meal!
The Lloyd Arnsdorff Memorial Scholarship is designed to support local agriculture students and help them pursue further education beyond high school. The Memorial Scholarship Auction is in place to help raise money for the scholarship fund and is a long-standing tradition of our local agriculture community. It is filled with great success stories!
