About this Event
At Litha, Weavers of the Web tells Skaði's story. When her father Thjazi dies at the walls of Asgard, the mountain huntress arrives at unfamiliar gates with nothing left to her name but a bow. Through grief, honor, and a laugh she didn't think was possible, she finds a new family. Litha is the height of the summer sun — the longest day, the peak before the turn — and the time we honor what we've built and what we're carrying forward into the harvest.
Our annual Litha ritual celebrates the babies born this past year with a Blessing of the Babies, welcomes new adults into community through Rites of Passage, and gives all of us a chance to offer what we're ready to leave behind into the fire. The day includes a Path Keepers class ($), a community feast, and a teacup raffle, with three ways to join: in person, live on Zoom, or via YouTube livestream. Family-friendly and free to attend, donations welcome.
