Building Bridges: Strength in Unity, Power in Pride
About this Event
This Pride Month, we’re not just celebrating—we’re showing up, speaking out, and standing strong.
The LGBTQ+ Unity Summit is a grassroots revival of a beloved regional tradition. After the closure of its original host organization, a passionate group of former organizers and community members came together to keep the momentum alive. This year’s Summit is a call to action—a space to recharge, reconnect, and recommit to building inclusive workplaces and resilient communities.
This year’s theme, Building Bridges, is a direct nod to our host city – Pittsburgh, also known as the City of Bridges.
What to Expect:
- Inspiring speakers & engaging workshops
- Corporate, nonprofit & government leaders
- Students & emerging professionals
- Community advocates & allies
Together, we’ll explore:
✨ Building resilience in uncertain times
✨ Sustaining movements beyond the spotlight
✨ Supporting one another when it’s hardest
✨ Celebrating LGBTQ+ brilliance and strength
In a time when LGBTQ+ rights and DEI initiatives are under attack, the need for visible solidarity and real commitment has never been more urgent. The 2026 LGBTQ+ Unity Summit will offer practical tools for supporting LGBTQ+ employees, authentic strategies for allyship, and clear pathways for engagement in the community.
Whether you're looking to deepen your organization’s inclusion strategy, become a stronger ally, or simply find connection and inspiration, please join us for a day of learning, dialogue, and action.
Together, we’ll build bridges – between sectors, across identities, and toward a future where unity is our strength and pride is our power.
