About this Event
Welcome to the 2026 Legislative Conference!
Our union is turning the tide on funding for Washingtonβs schools. Now is the time to get involved and stand up for livable wages, quality and affordable health insurance, and the right to negotiate fair contracts with our employers. Join us to learn about the legislative process, meet your legislators, and BE the change you want to see. This is where you truly can make a difference. We are so excited to come together to do this important work.
Every attendee should leave the conference with the tools they need to continue to advocate for themselves, their co-workers, and our union. Step up and become an advocate for yourself, your coworkers, your family, and your community. We need your voice in the fight for the rights we all deserve. After all, you are the union.
π Join us at the Marriott Tacoma Downtown for two days of engaging discussions, networking opportunities, and insightful sessions, leading up to a trip to the Washington State Capitol in Olympia on the third and final day of the conference. This in-person event is a great chance to connect with fellow professionals in the legislative field and stay current on the latest trends and developments.
While we will be very busy learning and lobbying throughout the weekend, we've also allotted plenty of time for networking and fun! After our dinner and program on Saturday evening, we will enjoy a live performance from Tacoma-local band, Readymade Family! They put on a show not to be missed at last year's conference, so get ready to get up out of your seats for some moving and grooving!
