About this Event
Running the Channel is excited to host its 7th run/walk event at Channel Partners Las Vegas 2026! This is a free and fun way to network around a common passion for running and walking and it's open to everyone.
Running the Channel will provide water, nutrition, pacesetters, a free t-shirt, and a picture at the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign. We have two routes to accommodate all levels: a 5-mile route and 3-mile route.
We will meet in the lobby of the Venetian and both routes will start by heading south (left) down Las Vegas Blvd; the 3-mile route will turn around at Tropicana Ave (near New York New York and MGM), while the 5-mile route will turn around at the famous Welcome to Las Vegas diamond sign for pictures. After the "turn around" all participants will head back north, returning to the Venetian Lobby.

Why is the start so early?
We want to make sure you are back in time for all the great "stuff" Channel Partners has to offer.
How far is the walk/run?
We have scoped out two routes, 3-mile or 5-mile, that groups can do at their own pace.
What if I'm a first timer?
No problem! We will have people going at all different paces.
What should I bring to the event?
Really all you need are your shoes, running/walking gear, and a cell phone.

How does this work?
Simple: just show up. The group naturally breaks into different sub-groups depending on pace. Pacesetters are ready to keep people company and go at any pace including walking. We will use the buddy system, but it will be hard to get lost. Since this is an "out-and-back," anyone is free to turn around at any point.
