Kiwanis Club of Chesaning invites you to our annual Kids Spring Sucker Fishing Tournament. Ages 16 and under.All fishing must be done on the banks of the river within Showboat Park and follow State of Michigan DNR laws.
9:30am drive thru registration opens.
$5.00 per registered child 16 & under (exact change appreciated)
Night crawlers available for sale for $3/dozen
Prizes will be drawn at 11am, 12pm and 1pm and posted at the weigh station (boat launch pavilion) and on the Facebook event page.
All prizes must be claimed by 2pm.
All registered children will have an opportunity to win the raffle prizes.
Cash prizes awarded to top 3 children in each age group based on weight of their heaviest fish. (All weighed fish are subject to cavity inspection for added weights) Weigh station closes promptly at 1pm and will NOT accept late entries.
1st place $100
2nd place $75
3rd place $50
All pets must be on a leash at all times which is a State of Michigan Law.
