Hey, YAPI fans and Kerrverts age 18 and under, and your families! The 2026 annual YAPI - Young Artist Performance Incubator event is happening the second Sunday of the Kerrville Folk Festival, Sunday, May 31, 1:30pm-3:30pm on the Threadgill Stage. That's 18 days away!!!!!!!
This will be the 13th YAPI at the festival and Brenda Freed's 23rd year of hosting it (10 years in Wimberley, TX).
We welcome all skill levels and all levels of experience. Please encourage all age 18 and under friends, sons, daughters, grandkids, cousins etc. to participate. Natalie Nobles
A keyboard will be provided. If you plan on playing any other instrument, please bring your own.
Thanks for helping to spread the word about this event that provides young Kerrverts the opportunity to explore performing with a professional sound system and crew on the Threadgill Stage in a supportive environment.
