Juneteenth Buffalo Green Team invites you to join the first annual trash brigade. We are hoping to evolve into a New Orleans style krewe. We have been getting inspiration from grounds krewe activities. https://www.groundskrewe.org/home
We will be focused on two activities this year: following the parade and helping keep the festival clean and green in the afternoon.
For the parade, this year we are starting simple with music, a truck and a great group of people ending the parade in style. We will meet at 1517 Genesee Street in Buffalo. You can dress up if you like and enjoy yourself as we walk the parade route and collect trash. The parade volunteers will meet at the beginning of the parade route at noon.
The 2-4 pm and 4-6 pm volunteers will see the festival in action with crowds of people, great food, and entertainment. These volunteers will meet at the Logistics Tent in MLK Park. We will email you a map showing the location of the Logistics tent.
