Come Take a Seat at the Table.The Apex Juneteenth Festival is back and this year we are inviting the entire community to pull up a chair. Whether you have been with us from the beginning or this is your first time joining us, there is a place for you here.
Join us for a day filled with live performances headlined by Dee-1, followed by Jiaani, NiiTo, Rev. Herndon and the Apex First Baptist choir, and more. We will also have food trucks, over 100 vendors, basketball, water bouncy houses, bubble machines, face painting, a free haircut bus presented by Gro501c3, and so much more on site. Experience the Apex Black History Exhibit, the Genealogy Station presented by FamilySearch, a history exhibit installation by the African American Heritage Commission, a digital artwork installation by Middle Creek High School, and an art gallery presented by Chris Evans. We will also have a mobile health screening bus by AmeriHealth Caritas of NC and a mobile food pantry by Ripe Revival.
This festival was built on three pillars: education, youth empowerment, and unity. We believe that when people from all different walks of life come together, something powerful happens. Stereotypes fall. Friendships form. Perspectives shift. And community begins.
