Open team bass tournament on Lake Shafer. The tournament will be held on Saturday May 16th, 2026 at the Indiana Beach Campground in Monticello IN. This is an open team tournament and everyone is invited to participate. Tournament hours will be 6:45 am (or safe light) to 3:00 pm. Registrations can be mailed to the White County Sheriffs Office, Attn: Erik Janke 915 W Hanawalt St Monticello IN 47960, or dropped off at Twin Lakes Fish and Game. Boat start position will be based off the postmark date on mailed entries or the date received at Twin Lakes Fish and Game. Team registrations will also be accepted the morning of the tournament from 5:30 am to 6:30 am. Tournament fees will be $100 per boat. There will also be a $10 ramp fee and an optional $10 Big Bass Pot for the biggest bass weighed in. BIG BASS BONUS POT! The tournament will also pay prize money for the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th biggest bass. The Big Bass pot is thanks to sponsorships from Coverite and Day and Knight Fitness! This tournament is sponsored by the FOP Lodge 123 and proceeds go to benefit our various community outreach programs, such as our scholarships and annual Shop With a Cop Event.
