The Jackass Mail Run carries mail by horseback via the old Immigrant Trail through Downtown Porterville and east into Springville. This year marks the 63rd running of the Jackass Mail Run and is slated for Saturday, April 18, 2026. The general public wanting to participate in the ride is to meet on D Street between Olive and Orange, ready to ride at 8:30am and must abide by all city, county and state traffic laws.
