The Saint Louis Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter (SLMAC) invites you to attend our 2026 Jabberwock, a formal celebration marking the completion of our Rites of Passage program for young ladies. Since its chartering in 1998, SLMAC has proudly hosted this signature program. Jabberwock is an African-Centered celebration that honors the transition of our Mahavavays into womanhood and showcases their talents as emerging leaders.
This year, we focus on the theme "Becoming through Belonging", which explores how rites of passage affirm one’s role within the tribe, family, or lineage. Not just as an individual, but as part of a collective heritage
Join us as we celebrate 28 years of the SLMAC Jabberwock with this meaningful event.
