About this Event
The South West Invasives Managers (SWIM) invite you to this year's workshop entitled 2026 Invasive Species Integrated Management. This event is one of the rare opportunities for vegetation management specialists to network and share experiences in fun, team-building environment.
This annual one-day event aims to provide land managers and field personnel with the tools and knowledge to effectively control invasive plants. It also provides an opportunity for seasonal staff to receive updates about new and exciting treatments methods, or species threatening to enter our area.
Invasive species are increasingly important to control, as they can out-compete native species, lower biodiversity, and degrade forage quality. Applicator credits pending.
Come join us at the Fort Macleod & District Community Hall to learn how you can help!
Lunch and refreshments will be provided. Options available for those with dietary restrictions. Registration Deadline is April 15, 2026.
