IndiaFest is the marquee event brought by India Association of MN to the communities in the Great State of Minnesota. It is an open air event that is free for everyone.The event celebrates India's Independence Day, which falls on August 15th. This year India celebrates her 79th year of independence from British rule.
The State of Minnesota recognizes August 15th as India Day every year.
Join us for a day long celebration of India's culture, traditions and cuisine. Come to lounge on the lush lawns of the state capitol to enjoy the cultural performances, take a gastronomic tour of delicacies served by our food partners to your or shop to your heart's content from our vendors who would bring in clothing, jewelry and handicrafts straight from Indian to your neck of the woods at this event!
