Our second and final training run before race day will be happening Saturday, April 25 at the Nordic trail head. Group start time is 7:30AM. We'll be marking a 19 mile out-and-back course to Emma Carlin (the first part of the 50k course, plus some bonus miles). This covers Section 3 of the 50 mile course. Aid Station -- water, Hammer Heed, soda, and snacks -- will be available at Horseriders Camp (miles 6.5 and 12.5). Don't need 19 miles? Turn around at Horseriders for a 13-mile run.
Parking Passes: You will need a state park pass to park at Nordic. The Wisconsin DNR has introduced a number of changes to its park pass policies and pricing. The brown parking envelopes will no longer be available at unstaffed park entrances, so the DNR strongly suggests purchasing your passes online at Vehicle Admission Passes | Wisconsin State Park System | Wisconsin DNR - https://dnr.wisconsin.gov/topic/parks/admission.
