About this Event
Rare Disease Day reminds us that behind every clinical puzzle, every diagnostic delay, and every research breakthrough is a child, a parent, a friend whose life has been shaped by a condition few people have ever heard of.
With this in mind, Medical Genetics and Genomics (MGG) at Emory University School of Medicine invites partners like you to join us for our Rare Disease Day Symposium, which we will host on Friday, February 27th,2026 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM in-person and via .
Rare Disease Day is a global observance dedicated to raising awareness, improving education, and strengthening collaboration. At Emory, we aim to create a meaningful and educational event featuring expert-led lectures, and opportunities for residents, medical students, fellows, faculty, and community partners to engage with emerging topics in rare disease care and research.
This event is sponsored by Sanofi, Biomarin, PTC, and UCB, Variantyx, Stoke Therapeutics, and Soleno.
