For the first time in 40 years, EDCHS is proud to feature the beautifully preserved heritage properties of Placerville's Coloma-Spring Street Historic District. Join us for a self-guided journey through 170 years of local history.

Location: Coloma-Spring Street Historic District, Placerville.
🗝️ Tour Highlights:
-Explore 11 featured properties, several of which have never before been opened to the public.
-Discover a diverse array of architectural styles, ranging from 1859 post-Gold Rush homesteads to 1930s Spanish Colonial Revival bungalows.
-Step inside the Nicholas and Anna Fox House, famously memorialized by Thomas Kinkade in "Victorian Christmas II".
-Visit the Episcopal Church of Our Saviour, featuring a Gothic-style sanctuary and Civil War-era stained glass windows and wooden pews.
-See the Albert Shafsky House, which has undergone a meticulous, period-authentic restoration.
-Tour the tastefully renovated period home of beloved Placerville haberdasher Max Baird.
