Why Should I Forgive You?
"Mercy should be at the heart of any functioning and tolerant society… As far as I can see, cancel culture is mercy’s antithesis." - NICK CAVE
Does forgiveness make the world a better place? Does it stop you living rent free in my head? Is it earned or given? Doesn’t forgiveness undermine justice? Is forgiveness even possible?
Join The Tricker Conversations team from Ryk Goddard’s ABC Hobart Breakfast show, UTAS philosopher Dr Louise Richardson-Self and Anglican priest Rev. Victor Shaw as they present the 2026 Henry Baldwin Lecture in the form of a three way knock down Tricky Conversation: Why should I forgive you?
**Enjoy mulled wine (non-alcoholic option available) on arrival and supper afterwards.**
