2026 Griddy's Awards Banquet

Since 2007, the Indiana Football Digest and the Regional Radio Sports Network teams have come together to present the Griddy’s Awards program to recognize the best of the best in high school football across the great state of Indiana.

The annual event honors student athletes, coaches, parents, and friends of Indiana high school football for their hard work in and around the game from the previous season.

The 20th annual program, under the direction of Indiana Football Digest and Regional Radio Sports Network publisher and founder Paul R. Condry, is scheduled for Sunday, April 26 at 1 p.m. EDT at the Indiana Farm Bureau Football Center (7001 W. 56th Street) in Indianapolis.

This year’s program is a collaboration between the Gridiron Foundation, the Indianapolis Colts, the Regional Radio Sports Network, and the Indiana Football Digest.

Each year the event presents awards to Indiana’s six state champions and state runner-up teams as well as our coaches, assistant coaches, and players of the year in all six classes. In addition, the Indiana Football Digest Prime Time 25 (Indiana’s top 25 juniors) will be recognized. It also recognizes 24 players on our Big School all-state team (Class 4A, Class 5A, and Class 6A) and 24 players on our Small School all-state team (Class 1A, Class 2A, and Class 3A).

Other specialty awards handed out include the Griddy’s Lifetime Achievement award, Jason Kuntz Badge of Courage award, Brad Breyfogle Spirit of Sport award, Excellence in Football Media award, and the Community and Impact award presented by the Gridiron Foundation.
