We invite you to join us for Baltimore County at 250: A Heritage Celebration, our signature annual fundraising gala and a special evening honoring America’s Semiquincentennial. This elegant event will be held at Valley Country Club, the historic former home of Art Donovan, Baltimore Colts Hall of Famer and beloved local icon — a fitting setting to reflect on both national history and Baltimore County’s unique legacy.
We hope you will join us for a memorable night that brings our community together in celebration and support of local history. The evening will include dinner, an open bar, music and dancing, and a silent auction, all in a beautiful historic residence rich with character.
As our nation approaches its 250th anniversary, we are reminded that America’s story is not told only through national landmarks and historic documents, but through the local places, people, and stories that give our history meaning. Preserving and sharing those stories is at the heart of the Historical Society of Baltimore County’s mission.
Tickets are $110 per person or $800 per table of 8.
Sponsorship opportunities are also available! This is a great opportunity to advertise your business in your local area while supporting the Historical Society of Baltimore County. See the sponsorship levels and details on the ticket page.
Proceeds from this event directly support the work you make possible throughout the year, including our monthly speaker series, the continued publication of History Trails, and our extensive research library and our staff and volunteers experienced in the use of our resources.
As we commemorate 250 years of our nation’s history, your participation ensures that the stories of Baltimore County continue to be preserved, interpreted, and shared for generations to come — in person, in print, and online.
We hope you will join us for this memorable evening of celebration, connection, and purpose.
