FSU Panama City presents a free youth football camp open to ages 9 and up and all genders. Join Javien Elliott (defensive back for Florida State Seminoles, Tampa Bay Buccaneers & Carolina Panthers) and Coach Boris Jackson on the field to learn game fundamentals, polish your skills and gain invaluable life lessons in the process.
Participants will be split into groups depending on their age range to practice skills. Sessions will be “flag football” style and strictly no-contact.
Parents/guardians must submit a separate registration form and waiver for each child participating in the camp. The “Release and Waiver of Liability” can be found here. Completed forms can be sent anytime to [email protected] or brought on the day of the event.
Registration begins at 8:00 am and Skills Sessions will begin promptly at 9:00 am. Pizza and refreshments will be provided.
Javien Elliott is a professional football veteran, author, and Florida State University alumnus whose story embodies grit, faith, and perseverance. A zero-star recruit from Panama City, Florida, Javien walked on to the reigning national championship team at FSU, where he earned a scholarship and became a starting defensive back. Despite going undrafted, he went on to play 4 years in the NFL with teams including the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Carolina Panthers, and 2 additional years in the CFL, continuing to compete at an elite level.
Javien is also the author of Unconquered Walk-On: My Unlikely Path From Zero Scholarships to Florida State and the NFL, a powerful memoir that inspires athletes to believe in their dreams and never give up—no matter how unlikely the journey may seem.
Now, Javien is launching Javien Performance, a specialized sports performance program focused on developing athletes’ speed, agility, and football-specific skills. Through this camp, Javien brings pro-level insight, a passion for mentoring, and a mission to help young athletes grow mentally, physically, and spiritually.
