FREE Summer Run/Walk Series – 2026!Sea Rim Striders-hosted event.
Free and Open to the Public.
June 1 - August 3
*based on 5K distance*
PRE-REGISTRATION ONLINE WAIVER REQUIRED TO BE SIGNED EACH WEEK, PRIOR TO ARRIVAL, by Sundays.
No timing, no event shirts, No finisher medals, No race bibs
***wristbands will be created and must be worn the entire time at race site***
Wear proper shoes and sun protection.
Adequate water stop(s) on course!
As a general running rule, stay to the right hand side of the road.
If passing say ON YOUR LEFT loud enough so the person can hear you.
Headphones are highly discouraged as runners need to remain aware of your surroundings at all times.
Please keep children in stroller or to the right so other Runners who may be passing do not get tripped up.
Strollers are discouraged due to liability.
***separate waiver must be signed, if you choose to use a stroller*** sign only once per series.
Keep your pets at home as they are a liability at Run/Walk events, plus pavement is too hot for animals' paws.
***Service animals are always allowed****
When you start, faster runners line up in the front,
slower runners/joggers in the middle, walkers & stroller pushers to the back. This is for your safety!
Stay Hydrated,
Be a friendly Runner!
Encourage when you can and hang around and cheer them into the finish!
All current 2026 SRS Club Members who attend 5/10 events qualify to receive a SRS club shirt!

Come early! Will have your wristbands ready for pick up by 6:15pm. Announcements promptly at 6:45pm
ALL Volunteers (members AND non-members) who sign up to help throughout the Summer Series will have their name put into a drawing for an End-of-Summer Volunteer Appreciation Prize Drawing, for each time they volunteer! Simply sign up ONLINE each week, to be placed!
(must be at least 16+ (remain at race site) or 18+ for on-course volunteering)
BUDDY PROGRAM is available for anyone new or needing encouragement while walking or running. Ask for a Buddy at the Orange SRS tent, or look for someone holding a BUDDY sign!
Your Buddy will go YOUR pace!
