Dear 2026 Foundation Students and Families,We are delighted to welcome you and your child to the Mildura South community for the 2026 school year! Beginning school is an exciting milestone, and we look forward to supporting your family as your child starts their learning journey with us.
To help your child feel comfortable and confident, we have developed a comprehensive Foundation Transition Program. This program provides opportunities for children to become familiar with our classrooms, teachers, and school routines in a supportive and engaging way.
Play afternoons:
Monday 17th November (3:30-4:00pm) - Parents/Guardians to stay
Thursday 4th December (3:30-4:00pm) - Parents/Guardians to stay
What to bring: nothing needs to be brought to these first sessions.
Transition Visits:
Friday 28th November (9:30-11:00am)
What to bring: Drink Bottle, Hat and brain food
Tuesday 9th December (9:30-3:00pm)
What to bring: Drink Bottle, Hat, brain food, snack and lunch
During these sessions, children will take part in fun learning activities while meeting their new classmates and teachers. Parents and carers will also have opportunities to meet staff, learn more about school life, and ask any questions about the year ahead.
We are excited to begin this journey with you and look forward to getting to know our newest Foundation students and their families.
