An Event Cache by MBGAFORT WHYTE ALIVE

9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Explore the 660 acres of Fort Whyte Alive's prairie, forest and shorelines while searching for new geocaches that will be placed onsite for this event. All these new geocaches will be winter friendly. Existing Geocaches will be archived by May 31, 2026.
Enter into a contest for prizes and chat with fellow geocachers. The draw for prizes will be at 3:00 p.m. You do not have to be there to win a prize, but do need to be at the event to enter.
The caches will be available starting at 9:00 a.m. for those looking for an FTF and the event log will be just inside the property on the south side of the Alloway Reception Centre. Look for the open-air white tent with your MBGA board members and caching volunteers providing information for these six hours of fun. The log book will be at this tent until 3:00 p.m. so you can arrive whenever you like during the day, grab the caches, grab a lunch at the Buffalo Stone Cafe, or have a picnic lunch at one of the several picnic tables. Fort Whyte closes at 5:00 pm.
Winnipeg Transit services are now available, going to Buffalo Crossing on McGillivray, where public parking is also available.
