The 2026 Fort Wayne Metro USBC "Senior Doubles Championships" take place Friday, March 20th, 2026 - Sunday, March 22nd, 2026 at Fraternal Order of Eagles #248 Bowling Center.NOTE: The center only has 10 LANES so space and entries will be limited to 20 TEAMS (40 BOWLERS) PER SHIFT to keep "pace of play" within a timely manner.

FORT WAYNE METRO USBC – “SENIOR DOUBLES CHAMPIONSHIPS” – RULES
1 – ELIGIBILITY
This is a DOUBLES open to ANY & ALL USBC SANCTIONED BOWLERS OVER THE AGE OF 50 (MUST REACH AGE 50 PRIOR TO TOURNAMENT DEADLINE). FORT WAYNE METRO USBC LOCAL DUES NOT REQUIRED.
2 – TOURNAMENT DIVISIONS
There will be two divisions in competition. Division 1 will be designated for competitors COMBINED ages of 100 - 120. Division 2 will be designated for competitors of COMBINED ages of 121 & OLDER.
3 – AVERAGES & AVERAGE VERIFICATION
Competitors will use their highest USBC sanctioned league average from the 2024-2025 season (MINIMUM 21 GAMES). If a bowler has no “Yearbook” Average, competitors will use their current average as of MARCH 18th, 2026 (MINIMUM 12 GAMES). Standard “10 PIN RULE” WILL BE IN EFFECT (USBC RULE 319A), as well as average verification. COMPETITORS AVERAGES ARE SUBJECT TO RERATE BY THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR. Failure to use correct average WILL result in disqualification.
4 – HANDICAP & FORMAT
Handicap for this tournament will be 80% from a TEAM AVERAGE base of 440. Competitors will bowl THREE (3) standard games of competition on the same pair of lanes. MULTIPLE PARTICIPATION IS PERMITTED BUT ENTRANTS MUST CHANGE PARTNERS ON EACH SHIFT.
5 – PRIZE FUND DISTRIBUTION
100% OF THE PRIZE FUND WILL BE RETURNED ON A “1 IN 4” RATIO. Cash prizes will be awarded in each division based on TOTAL HANDICAP SCORES.
6 – USBC RULES COMPLIANCE
ALL OTHER STANDARD USBC RULES WILL BE IN EFFECT. VIOLATION OF TOURNAMENT RULES CAN CARRY PENALTY OF DISQUALIFCATION WITH NO REFUND. (USBC Rule 303 aka “Right to refuse entry” will be in effect).
7 – ENTRY SUBMISSION
Entry forms MUST accompany payment to guarantee spot on desired shift. PAYMENTS (CHECK/MONEY ORDER) MADE PAYABLE TO Fort Wayne Metro USBC, 6505 Constitution Drive, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46804. EARLY ENTRY DEADLINE: Wednesday, March 18th, 2026 – 3:00 P.M.
